Bagatelle Park
In the middle of the famous Boulogne Forest in the 16th arrondissement of Paris is the enchanting Park Bagatelle with its pretty little Neopalladian-style castle, both of which were built or built in just 64 days in the 18th century, as a result of a bet between Marie Antoinette and her brother-in-law, the count of Artois, who bought this property in 1775.
This incredibly charming place today attracts friends of walks and relaxation, who can enjoy the flower beds, the remarkable trees, the small bridges, the caves, the rocks, the water basins and the artificial waterfalls. An absolutely romantic atmosphere, which is enhanced by the beautiful Chinese pagoda from the 19th century.
The Bagatelle Park is also known for its incredible rose garden! Around 10,000 rose bushes with 1,200 different species form a splendid symphony of colors and scents during the flowering period.
Exhibitions and concerts with classical music also take place regularly in the park.
